Performance of 2bay RAID1 HD enclosures

Hello all,

I am looking for a 2 bay enclosure with RAID1 capability. I could not find any information on the performance of the Towerstor TS2CT and Icy Dock MB662USEB-2S.

Does anyone know the performance of the Towerstor TS2CT and/or the Icy Dock MB662USEB-2S in terms of write and read speeds with Firewire800 connection?

Also, can anyone comment on the noise produced by these devices?

Finally, does anyone know where to buy the Towerstor TS2CT in the UK?
