Performance of aperture on macbook 2.0?

can anyone comment on this performance? I tried a search but didn't really yield a result.

I am thinking of getting a macbook to add to the intelimac, but want to be able to possibly run aperture someday.

I find it runs at acceptable speeds, but I am not coming from a Quad G5

I played with it for a bit at the apple store and didn't feel any noticeable different between it and my home setup (dual 1.8ghz G5 with the nvideo 6800GT DDL and 3.5 gigs of ram). I don't know if that tells you anything. It could be faster, but if it was, it wasn't by much.
