So, I hope this is the right spot and isn't a repeat topic (I attempted to search, but didn't find anything).

I have a mid/late 2009 13" MBP. I have Leopard right now, but am interested in upgrading to Snow Leopard (and possibly Lion this summer). I am wondering if I will experience any serious slow down. My average usage is web browsers, iTunes, and the occasional game (warcraft 3, steam). I have 8 gigs of RAM and 2.26 Ghz processor. I don't anticipate difficulties running it, but I would like to keep a pretty speedy computer. Will I maintain reasonable speed?

Thanks!

I am currently on Snow Leopard and have no speed issues on my MBP. My model is on my sig.

I'm surprised your computer came with Leopard pre-installed on it???

Either way, my 09 MBP (see sig) runs snow leopard just fine. I really don't see how you'll see a slowdown by upgrading your OS

I think installing SL will even speed up the computer!

10.5.7 Leopard was pre-installed back then before SL came out.
