iPhone Periodically losing internet connection after jailbreak

Hello everyone, I've searched around and haven't found anyone else posting up about having this problem, so I hope I'm not reposting.

Since installing the evasi0n jailbreak, mostly when I've been using Pandora, I noticed that the stream would just stop, and I wouldn't have any LTE/4G internet connection at all anymore, even in my other apps and messaging. I also think it has happened last night while I was sleeping because texts that I received in the morning were all texts, not iMessages, and I no longer had internet connection. I force quit all of my apps and that did not solve it. Restarting my phone did not resolve the problem, I did not try a hard restart, but I just ended resetting my network settings and that solved it.

Anyone else with this problem?

I've noticed my wifi drop out a few times since I've done the update, but within seconds it's back on the network again. Also, I had this issue before the evasi0n jailbreak. I put it down to the awful BT HomeHub router!

Have you tried changing the wireless channel on your router?
 
Since I jailbroke my iPhone5, my dog has to go outside more. Has anyone else seen this?
 
Oh yeah, I'm aware of the wi-fi drops on the 5, but I was having this issue with my LTE/4G connection.

I also don't have any pets but I'm sure I'd be having issues with them also since the jailbreak. I hope there's some sort of... evasi0n method for this. :cool:
 
Yes, I have been having this problem as well. Right before the JB, no problems at all. As soon as I did the JB, my connection started dropping. I would be in the middle of something and I would get the pop up asking me to join my network again. Hmmm, works one minute and 5 minutes later it doesn't, that sounds like it's JB related to me.

I did mess around with my router a bit and I have seen a slight decrease in the wifi dropping, but I still do have it occasionally. Just living with it until hopefully an update will come out. The JB to me is still worth having to reconnect to my network every once in a while. ;)
 
Hi guys I am having the same issue. Never had an issue with my Internet connection on my AT&T iPhone 5 LTE/4g then did the evasi0n jailbreak and now throughout the day I have to reset network settings in the settings app.

I'm convinced it's the jailbreak as it was never an issue before then within the day of jail breaking it started dropping off Internet connectivity. Getting home and connecting to wifi allows it to work again, but if I disconnect from it I immediately go back to no Internet connection. It has full bars LTE but no connection. Then sending failed texts as "text messages" to people works. iMessage however does not.

I want to test it by removing the jailbreak and seeing if it continues or if it stops disconnecting.

Anyone have a link or instruction for removing this jailbreak so I can test and report back?

Just connect to iTunes and restore.

Hey guys and gals I've been experiencing this same problem I spoke with AT&T customer care and one told me my imei number didn't match she reset it then it worked for two minutes and the internet went out again seems like it works with LTE but once LTE fades and 4G appear at the top my internet vanishes .... I tried turning off my phone and turning it back on that rarely seems to work and rarely effective if any updated on how to stop this being it's really annoying please let me know! Thanks sincerely Quan!
 
unlockit.co.nz Access that website on you iPhone and simply follow the drop down menu instructions. You will be up and running within a minute or two.
