Peripheral Problem Paradox

Hey fellow-groovers,
Does anyone have any idea how one might connect hp USB peripherals to a mac? My brother just bought two scanjets and a CD writer for his Tosheeeeeeeeba laptop, but I think they may be for Satan's Sporn OS (being Windows) only. Does anyone know of any third-party apps or drivers that may make these peripherals operational?

Just asking...
