(Sorry if this has already been addressed--I searched, but couldn't find what I was looking for.)

Is there a way to permanently increase font size when viewing incoming messages in Mac Mail? The messages I receive have tiny fonts. I know I can increase the viewing size with 'apple +', but it only does it for that message. The next message I receive has the same tiny font.

Help!

Thanks!

I just stumbled across your post when trying to find out the same thing.

After rummaging around in the mail settings I found that you need to do this:

Select MAIL - PREFERENCES - FONTS & COLORS

Change the font size for 'message font'. Job done.

Be aware that HTML formatted messages will not be in larger type.
