perment smuges on screen?!?!

hey guys i have a problem. I just noticed on my umbp 17" sreen that i have these smuge marks that wont go away. Its kind of like when you get like water on your screen or basicly any liquid and you wipe it and you get the rainbow colored streaks on the screen, well thats what i got. I wiped it down with iklear and its still not gone. Does anybody know what this is? Or what i can do about it. Thank you

Is there any chance at all that you cleaned your screen using a fluid other than distilled water? Anything with any type of solvent not made for such a screen could cause that problem.

Don't know, I spray water on the cleaning cloth that came with the Mac and use the damp areas to polish off the dirt.

If the towel you use is too wet (or you spray directly on the screen) it might leave spots that leave marks behind. Due to it drying before you can polish it off.
