I connect an external firewire drive, copy some file to it and log off. Log back on as different user and notice the other user can read the file even if he does not own the file. It appears that permision is ignored on this external drive. Get Info say the file system is "Mac OS Extended (journald)". I remember reading that there is a switch some place. I need this drive to work just like the internal drive.

I've been a UNIX sysadmin in year past (going back to late 70's) and I know I could fix this using the terminal by removing the "nouid" option out of the mont command but that does not seem very "mac-like".
