Permute 2 worth the upgrade?

Hi,

I have Permute and checked out the demo of Permute 2 and don't notice any big changes worth $10. What are the real world benefits of Permute 2? The first MOV file I converted led to a system crash on Yosemite and so far I have not noticed any significant speed improvements over v1.3.13.

I ran a number of tests comparing v1.3.13 and I was surprised that Permute 2 was actually slower. For example: Tested conversion of MOV to iphone conversion and Permute 2 was slower by 4 seconds.
