I'm using a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 and I am recently experiencing severe difficulties when trying to connect to Wifi. My computer has not been able to connect to Wifi networks, usually giving either a timeout signal or an exclamation point. At a friend's home last night, my computer was unable to connect to the network despite multiple other devices using it normally. The router was restarted to no avail. I also attempted restarting the PRAM and SMC but the problem persists.

I just spent several days in a hotel accessing the Wifi from a service that required entering a temporary password, and I haven't been able to connect to other Wifi networks after checking out of that hotel. I am utterly at a loss about how to correct this situation.
