I set up a new Mini and everything is going well but I ran into this problem on iCal which is showing Tir 1400 AP as the date. It appears that this is the Persian calendar I just want to get back to the regular calendar.

Solved. In Language & Region. For some reason, my Region was set to Afghanistan.
