I've been watching the Best Buy web site off and on since I ordered Apple's iPad cases from the Apple online store the first part of June. Shipping was scheduled for June 2, with delivery on July 3, shortly after I would leave on a trip.
Yesterday I checked again for in-store availability, and, to my surprise, they were available at my closest Best Buy. I ordered two, one for me and one for my spouse. I picked them up on the way home from work yesterday evening.
Canceled the Apple order as soon as the Best Buy confirmation of in store availability arrived.
So, for me at least, it was worth continuing to check. Maybe this report will help someone else.
