Persistent Download Indicator on the Dock

Has anyone experienced this issue? The only way to remove the line is to restart the dock through terminal.

Nothing is downloading of course. A download had just completed (through Safari). It won't go away on its own.

Nothing is downloading of course. A download had just completed (through Safari). It won't go away on its own.

My Launchpad was behaving like this on my dock. Had that progress bar stuck halfway.

Found out that an App Store update was causing the issue.

Removed Launchpad from the dock.
Restarted machine
Added Launchpad back.

All good.
