Personal File Sharing Custom Url

I just found out about the personal file sharing that OSX offers and it's great. When I bring my laptop over to someone’s house this would be the perfect way to swap files. I am wonder though is there anyway to set a custom internal network url instead of the http://Network ip/~computername
I know its Apache and although I don't know much about it I am pretty this can be done. Does anyone know how?
