personal finances app for europe?

Quicken 2010 for mac was recently announced on the front page and caught my attention. It's a US centric app, though, so I went looking for an app I could use in Europe. I didn't find anything geared towards West and North Europe (I move around a lot). But maybe the collective brainpower of macrumors knows a good and trustworthy(!) app?

Features that include the stock market are very appreciated.

PS. what is with all the "check balancing" stuff? It seems an archaic system.
