Hi,
Please let me know if I've posted this in the wrong place.
I will be selling my late 2009 (last model before the design update to the aluminum unibody) mac mini shortly and replacing it with the 2012 model. As such Office 2004 will no longer be usable by me and what I'd like to do is leave it on the 2009 for the buyer to use.
It's the student edition, I do have the install discs. It will be on the same machine as it always has been. When I start Word or Excel I get the "licensed to: [my name]" with a Product Key displayed.
The question is, how much information about me is connected with this particular installation? There's my name in that "licensed to" statement but what else? And assuming there is personal info, is there a way to delete it?
Does it help me, in the eyes of Microsoft, that this licensed install is staying on the same computer it's always been?
Thank you everybody for any help you can provide!
