This isn't strictly a PPC related query, but knowing the knowledgeable folks here I thought it probably the best place to ask.
Suddenly today I seem to have a new black text toolbar which I'm unable to get rid of. This appears whether I'm logged online or not, with or without FireFox active. I always use Firefox and 3 days ago updated to v 60.02 (this on an iMac running Sierra 10.12.5). Don't think it's related to Firefox as several days use after the v60.02 update this new toolbar hadn't appeared. This is what the pesky, totally unecessary toolbar looks like:

With a mouse click I can displace the toolbar anywhere on the screen, but a right click activates no menu which otherwise may have provided a delete option. Have also performed a normal and cold restart and toolbar is still present. Help please, it's driving me nuts!
