Peter Brock killed in accident

This is bad.

This guy for you non aussies set the fastest lap of a 163 lap 1000 kilometre race ON THE LAST LAP, leading by a mile. His mechanics were freaking out as he trashed his car around Bathurst. Won BAthurst 9 times, no one will ever come close

Us Aussies have had a bad bad week

Irwin was good, Peter was Perfect

I bloody hope I don't have kids. I do however have a single of theirs on vinyl from the 80's when they were a dodgy pub rock band called "The Cockroaches." It's funny hearing their voices and that style of music.

Sorry, let's make that a giant green dinosaur.

Maybe they should do a lap on Bathurst with him in the back of a hearse.
 
steve gets killed by a sting ray... a low key unexpected event..

brockie... a tree, at a local enthusiast race meet... again, not really expected and not really a huge event...

*sigh*.. they could have both gone in style... (croc, bathurst, something!)

Unfortunately these things happen in threes.

First Don Chipp, founder of the Australian Democrats Party died. Then it was Steve Irwin and today it is Peter Brock. :(

(The weird thing is that they all did an interview on Andrew Denton's 'Enough Rope'.)

Looks like we've had a politician, an entertainer and a sporting personality (if you consider motor racing a sport) all in the one week.

I'd forgotten about Don Chipp - he was old, not really gone before his time. We were thinking maybe a musician, Peter Garrett from Midnight Oil could snap his own back trying to dance... ;)

Anyhooo, I'm smashed, massively pissed, very drunk. For all you yanks, pissed = drunk not angry. Pissed OFF = angry.

I wish David Tench would go... that show is irritating me far too much.
