I have a 15" mid 2010 6,2 MBP w/ original battery.
Wondering if an active PFC compatible UPS is necessary or recommended for MBP's?
I cannot find any info. on the magsafe psu or anything in the macbook body itself in relation to active PFC.
What about if I'm connecting the MBP to/through a 27" Apple LED Cinema Display (i.e. magsafe, usb, & mini display-port to MBP) to the UPS?
My primary reason for using an UPS is outage protection for a cable or dsl modem/gateway, and/or router, and synology diskstation, but want to protect my Apple devices from incompatible electronics if it's a potential issue.
thanks in advance
