About to buy myself a brand new Mac. I have a copy of PGP Whole Disk Encryption ready to install - but I also want to use Boot Camp with it.

PGP's instructions say to also install PGP for Windows.

Is this simply to make sure the entire disk is encrypted, or is it actually required by PGP in some way? I wouldn't think it's required, since 10.5 + PGP allowed booting from, for example USB/DVD, by doing the usual option-boot.

It's just to protect your Windows partition. Partitions are treated essentially the same as entirely different hard drives, so what happens to one shouldn't affect the other.
