For many years, I have used Pretty Good Privacy Desktop Professional (which is now owned by Symantec) to manage numerous encrypted virtual drives on both my Macs and PCs. However, PGP isn't promising an update to run under Lion for 6 months! Does anyone have any solutions for handling multiple virtual drives that are encrypted with individual, unique passphrases and, preferably, is compatible with PCs, too?

For whole disk encryption I would suggest Filevault2, for everything else, cross platform how about Truecrypt?

Just got done with some truecrypt forensics. Archive created by Windows. Unencrypted by Mac. Works well. I was not expecting it to be so flawless.
