I'm running Adobe After Effects CS4 on my Mac Pro (see signature for details). I'm getting an issue with the process "aeselflink" continuing to run and eat up CPU resources (running at between 50% and 54% at all times) long after I've completely closed After Effects. There's only one instance of it running.

I've found articles related to other issues with "aeselflink" but not this specific issue of it running when AE isn't even open.

Snow Leopard and my After Effects CS4 are completely updated. Any ideas? Any more info that'd be useful to figure this out?

I have the exact same issue!

As well as Keylight consistently running out of memory...

any response to above would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yup.

I've got the same problem. Except I usually have about 4-6 instances of them running, using anywhere between 50-75% of my cpu.

My fans were running at full speed for around an hour until I remembered I needed to close them manually.

help?
