Phantom Display

When I open the dialog box to arrange displays in system prefernces a third phantom display is showing up. I only have two displays conected to my MacPro, a 30" ACD and a 23" Dell. If I click on gather displays the phantom display shows up as a VGA display. Any ideas? I've tried shutting down and restarting but that did not help.
