phantom Double mac HD without another HD (2) in login window

Hi I am having a small problem.
Awhile back I was looking for a disk defragmentor for mac (not needed I know) and I think I downloaded an app that makes a copy of your HD so you can delete the old one and use the new one. I didn't have the hardware to do that so I deleted the app.
Now tho when I start my mac the login screen shows my computer HD but after it has (2)! I don't think it's doing anything but it is annoying. It does the same thing in my finder:

That looks like your computer rather than your hard drive, unless you've manually changed the icon.

You can rename your computer from the sharing preference pane.

You can rename a hard drive like any other file/folder. If it appears on your desktop, you can simply select it and hit return.
