my proximity sensor on my iphone 4 wont work with a skin on the front, i have tried 3 different skins and shields and they all disable the proximity sensor from working. any work arounds? am i doing something wrong? btw i just bought this iphone its the white one.

The white phone seems to have this issue. No solution except to cut an opening for it.

MacRuler,

Great Post. In fact, just last week we re-designed all our iPhone 4 screen protectors to have a cutout where the Proximity Sensor is. This was not necessary for the Black model but we did this as a rolling change for both models. If you have our Screen Protection film and just recently purchased the White iPhone 4, please contact our Customer Service Department to initiate an exchange. If there is a pre-cut hole where the Proximity Sensor is on your Screen Protector, you have the most up-to-date design.

can you send me a link to where i can get a replacement? i emailed them but they never contacted me back. thank you

This issue has been discussed at length in other threads, some screen protectors work other's don't, I have the Bodyguardz, I had to cut a slot out.

I find it odd that the new screen protectors need a cutout to deal with the white phone. None of the screen protectors on my black 4 or my 3gs had a cutout and worked fine.

The main issue is the proximity sensors and how it works on the white iPhone 4, this differs on the black as you know
