Yesterday I moved an email from Trash to my inbox (via the iOS Mail app) and noticed that it wasn't there in my web interface (gmail). Searching for the email (via gmail web interface) shows up no results. If I click on the message in my inbox (which only exists on my phone) it says "this message could not be downloaded from the server".

That's bad enough, but the real bummer is that I can't delete the message from the phone. If I drag it to delete it, it disappears, then I get a pop up saying "Unable To Move Message", and then the email is back.

I've quit the Mail app (from the multitask screen), I've done a hard reset, and the email is still there, only in the mail app.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
Or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
