philips gogear 8gb SA1982A

Hi I d like to buy this item "philips gogear 8gb SA1982A" it is a second hand one, but I am not sure if it works with mac osx 10.4.11 and if it does what cable will I need? any usb?

Looking at this, it appears that the device is mounts as mass-storage when you plug it in, which means that it would work on any OS. It will appear in Finder, and you just drop your mp3s in to it. If there's any special syncing software that comes with it, it might not be 10.4 compatible, but you aren't forced to use it.

I assume the device comes with a USB cable.
