Philips Hue app disconnects when in background

Hi all. I'm trying the iOS9 forum first in case this is an iOS9 issue. If no luck here I'll go to the app forum.

When I'm using the Philips Hue app and go to any other app or the home screen (or even pull up the command center) the app disconnects from the bridge and I have to find the bridge in the settings after I return to the app.

Is this some sort of new behavior by design with iOS9? Or I have a setting wrong? Thx.

I have ios 9.0.2 on 6s+ and hue Works fine.. Even if force ended when I launch it goes straight to bulbs or scenes. Right now I'm playing with on switch too as it has toggle widgets
