Just two questions: how is your service in the valley of the sun?

And this is a more general question for anyone with an iPhone.. how much would a family plan be with an iPhone on it? Anyone have a family plan with two lines and at least one iPhone? I'd like to figure out how much I can keep my bill around if I were to get an iPhone.

Reception is generally good in the East Valley for me. I don't get full signal strength in most of the places I go in downtown Phoenix, but nothing that hampers usage of voice or EDGE. I have noticed though that my service absolutely sucks right around the Arizona Mills Mall area of Tempe.

I'm in NE Phoenix and have 5 bars a majority of the time.
EDGE service is very good.
It does get a bit sluggish when I go downtown though.

I have a family plan with 2 iPhones and it costs me $90 per month.

Is that $90 total, including taxes and all those extra annoying charges?

How many minutes, text messages and what-not does that include?

I had no idea that page existed... thank you very much.

But now I'm confused because that says the cheapest plan is $109 and rjohnstone only pays $90 for two iPhones?

I'm an existing customer...
All I had to do was add the $20 per phone charge to my EXISTING family plan.
My bill is $89.99 before all the taxes.

Hmm... it sounds like it might be a decent idea to find some real cheap at&t phones on ebay to activate an account and then sign up for a 2 year plan with the iPhone, to get a cheaper monthly rate?

Wait... is it $20 per iPhone as an existing customer? That would make your previous bill only $49 a month before you got your iPhones wouldn't it?

Generally good for me. I am moving to NW Peoria and lose signal a bit (by lake pleasant). I have my family plan setup under my wife's phone.

Line 1 = 9.99 add a line
Line 2 = 60.00 base price for family plan. 14.99 for media/text.
Line 3 = iPhone 9.99 for line and 20 for data.

I also get 25% discount on my plan through work.
