Phone audio on call goes to incredible echo - have to hang up and call back

Hi,

So lately, I have been on calls and my phone for no reason will turn my voice into a HUGE HUGE HUGE echo! I can't hear anyone else on the other line, nor can they. I have to hang up and re-call them.

Not sure what is going on.

Ideas?
