Phone Call Alerter

So I had my headphones in today and missed an important call on my cell phone.

I was wondering, is there any app that would maybe let me have my phone connected to my Macbook with Bluetooth, and then would give a pop-up for incoming calls or text messages. Even better, maybe it would let me take the call through the Macbook microphone/headphones?

I would love to take the call using the macbook

Maybe just try putting your phone on vibrate and leaving it in your pocket?

I could do that, but that wouldn't be as cool as the app

Also, the phone was charging.

I used to have your problem too, especially when wearing noise isolating earbuds. Sometimes I would forget to switch it to vibrate and would get funny looks as my phone blared away in my pocket while I was oblivious.

Listening to music from the iPhone has pretty much taken care of it though.
