Phone call problem with iPhone 5

I have been getting numerous complaints about my voice cutting out halfway through a sentence or people can no longer hear me at all. Anyone else having this issue?

I found from staring at my phone while making calls is that I lose reception when my phone jumps from lte to 3G and vice versa

I've had the same thing. Calls cut out then come back repeatedly and with some calls it just ends after about 5 mins. Was still in the 28 day warranty so have returned it for a new one. However sad to say on day 1 this one is doing it too. It's not fit for purpose.
