C calvy macrumors 65816 Sep 17, 2007 1,271 9 Sep 22, 2012 #2 LTE is data only. So if you are on a call, I'm guessing it shows 4G because it's sending it's call data over the 4G phone network. I wonder if this means you can't use LTE data when making a phone call?
