Phone calls on AWU1

A few times now, I have taken a phone call while at home, via my Apple Watch Ultra 1.
All too often, the sound always seems low, even when I scroll the dial, to increase the volume.

Is there another setting/change that I need to make?

the speaker on the watch isn't that big or loud

Haven’t had that issue on mine

Ofcourse it is limited by what it is, a small device much more distal than a phone
