Not sure how to describe what mine has been doing since new. Using iPhone 11 Pro Max, latest iOS (and all previous iterations), with the HomePod as a speaker, every few minutes or so the audio out of the HomePod will go to low volume static or silent for a couple seconds, then it will play all the missed audio at an increased speed to catch up to realtime with the call. I like using it as a speakerphone for long conference calls moreso than headphones or just the phone speaker, but it's reaaaally distracting/annoying. The phone is about 2ft from the HomePod and in the same room as my router so I would have a hard time believing connectivity problems. Has anybody else experienced this? Tried searching but maybe I'm just not calling it the same problem someone else did.
