phone did not ring, e-mails not pushing and vm did not beep for 3 hours!

I have several e-mails in my mac folder for hours sometimes that do not get pushed - but the thing that irritated me most was I had three phone calls where the phone did not ring and got three messages but the vm's did nt show up my phone for 3 hours.

What is that all about?

Were you in a place where you had no service for a while?

Exchange it. That happened on my first 1st gen phone.

i was in Jersey City, NJ which has excellent service...this is not a common thing, that I at least noticed...however I will pay closer attention and take to an apple retail store if it persists.

I hate to say this, but I have that problem occasionally as well. A reset fixes it. I don't know wether it's hardware or software, but since the reset fixes it....I think it's a software issue. I try and reset the phone every couple of days.
