Resolved Phone doesn't ring anymore!

My wife's phone suddenly no longer rings when called and there is no 'beep' for incoming messages. This happened a couple of weeks ago with her 5SE which I have just replaced with a refurbished 13 mini and there is no change.

I'm in dialog with the service provider (Belong, in Australia), but no solution as yet.

Any ideas?

Reboot the phone, check the hardware mute switch, check the software volume levels.

If you ended up transferring the iPhone contents, you may have transferred the problem as well. It’s not necessarily a network problem.

We've been through the reboot and checking all the settings with no solution.

I think you may be correct in that we may have transferred the problem. I guess the solution may be to restore factory settings and start again.

I'm pleased to say the problem is now solved after several hours of dialogue with the service provider.

In the end, it was a combination of service provider and phone settings.
