Hi, everyone. I started using my iPhone 11 Pro Max yesterday and I've had the phone reset twice on me and randomly just turn itself off twice now. I'm started to get kind annoyed. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about returning the phone and picking up another since I've only had the phone for two days.

Hey man. You are not alone

Purchased my IPhone 11 Pro MAX 512GB online in Germany and same stuff.

Sometimes working for 3-5 hours than rundown shutoff. Sometimes with reboot. Sometimes it’s just off.

I called Apple care support and have to wait for an exchange.

In German Forum also People complained about this.

Also reddit I saw a thread about that. Mainly the iPhone 11 Pro seems to suffer from it ?

[Update]: I think I found out why the phone is doing what it is doing. Full Kernal Panic. I'm getting my unit replaced.

My 11 64GB is doing this as well. Apple Support wants me to do a factory reset and set up as a new phone rather than a restore from backup. I’m skeptical that it will work.

...and it could mean losing data, maybe years of data, from apps that don't sync away from the iPhone's local storage. Further, if you have a lot of installed apps, it can be a significant PITA.

I'd make really sure my backups didn't get overwritten along the way so I could restore if (when) setting up as a new phone doesn't work.

I had a similar issue but it only happened twice so far; wondering if it might be related to iOS 13 bugs.

Hi there! Same problem overhere today! Iphone 11 Pro Max 512gb Several times a restart today when IPhone was on the dock. After this restarts I didn’t need to login also not for the simcard. Strange, and not very good because of it it not save, a restart/login like this...

I tried that and it didn't do anything. Go into your iPhone analytics and see if you have a fatal kernel error. I've already sent mine back to Apple and should have a replacement unit in two weeks. Apple did really well last year with the iOS 12 launch. It was very stable and the phones were very fast. Not sure what happened.

I am expecting that to be the end result.I should add that the 13.1 Beta did not solve the problem either. And the crash logs are littered with kernel panics and other entries.

I would imagine the Apple stores are not stocked with replacement units? I need to send my 7+ back to T Mobile for trade in credit so waiting two weeks for a replacement is not ideal.

Yeah, I kept getting three or four kernel panics back to back to back to back. Unfortunately, the seven Apple stores next to me don't have any in stock.

I'm *really* hoping they fix the issue with the Gold Master release that is going to be released tomorrow.

I also think it is a software problem, so waiting for 13.1 and hoping that Apple reeds this forum also will help maybe :)?

Here's hoping! This seems to be a bigger issue than I thought.

Hope so. Getting so many panic full errors when I checked Logs

What annoys me is that my Moms XS Max isn't having a single issue and my 11 Pro Max was going crazy. I should have just kept my XS Max. How is iOS 13 so optimized for OLD hardware?
