Phone not lighting up or vibrating for incoming messages when bluetooth is enabled

iPhone 11 Pro Max that I just updated to 16.3.1 last night.

Based on some research I've done, this normally happens if you have an Apple Watch connected, BUT I don't own an Apple Watch.

None of my Bluetooth devices are connected: Car, Airpods and Bluetooth speaker

Any ideas?

I have that happen when near my MacBook which has sound turned off. In my case I suspect it is transferring to MacBook

MacBook is off so it can't be that unfortunately

Focus on? Silence Unknown Caller on? Or Filter Unknown Senders on in Messages?

That said, might have seen this happen to me the other day: got a call that never ringed/alerted me. Just not sure if the Focus I had set was still on or not when the call came in.
