Phone not showing notifications when watch is in DND help

I guess it’s because of the watchOS 11 update but my phone (iOS 18) is not showing notifications and also not making any sound anymore even though my watch is in DND (or sleep) mode. Only taking the watch off helps.
What can I do??? I need this back
