I heard there's a discount on Macs bought over the phone in the US, and that it stacks with educational discounts. Is there such a policy in the UK?

When I ordered a PowerBook a couple of years back I ordered over the phone and got a price £120 less than the online price.
I don't know whether this was a genuine discount or I was just lucky.

EDIT: Oh, and that was on top of Edu discount.

I negotiated an approx. 5-7% discount over the phone with Apple UK (in Ireland) when we last updated our studio hardware... but we're a registered charity (had to give them our charity number) so it kind of fell under the educational banner.

Sure that wasn't the HE discount? That's about 15% compared to 7-9% for the regular Education discount.
