Looking to get this case for my 14PM. How is the grip on the sides? Is it slippery or is it actually rubbery grip feeling. I’ve had so many cases where the rubber sides feel like slippery plastic and it is not grippy at all . Thanks .

Ok got a good protection case that has very grippy sides and isn’t slippery plastic feeling … not otter box lol

You can always get the Flex version. That one doesn't have side protection, so it's nake on the side.

I prefer something with good full protection and good grip on the sides , not slippery

It isn’t grippy but neither is it slippery like some of the Rhinoshield Solidsuits either. It feels like a slightly rough TPU. Because of the way the Gen 4 is cut on the sides, I find it feels quite secure in my hand. I’ve never felt like I was going to drop it. The aramid fibre on the back is also slightly soft, so it creates a little friction as well when your fingers are on that part.

One thing that no one has mentioned is that the camera lip is very shallow, which may result in a lack of confidence in the camera's protection.

So if not the rebel case what should I get then . Grippy sides and protection not insane bulky..

You consider Mous? I went for Mous over Rebel because they didn't have their cases out on time. It's not as tough as Rebel in a 50 feet drop but it's slimmer and pretty tough. The side is ribbed to help you grip it better.

The grip is why I can’t use it. Far too slippery

Any chance the 14 Pro Max Flex case would fit on a 13 Pro Max? I’m ok with camera cutout not being exact.

actually the flex is about the same protection as the gen 4 everythingapplepro drop tested a bunch of cases at 50 feet and the flex survived just as well as the gen 4

They have one for the 13 PM too. I don't know if it's as good as the 14 PM version. You can email and ask too.

I tried the Rebel for 13 PM and wasn’t impressed. Rebel for 12 PM was great. The newest version looks amazing.

For my iPhone 14 Pro, I purchased a Shell Holster combo case, which does not slip and is convenient to hang on a belt. When I got into the car and forgot to remove the phone from the belt, I broke the clip. But I contacted the seller and they quickly sent me a new one.
