I just got my Iphone 5. I had an iphone 4s running ios6. I backed up my 4s and restored that to my iPhone 5. All is well except that when i try to move my icons around, i press the home button to finish and almost every time the screen goes black, i get an apple logo and then back to the springboard. and none of the icon moves i made stayed. they are back in their original location. this is very frustrating.

Any idea how to resolve this one?

I've heard moving icons one page at a time helps this issue. I haven't tried to replicate the issue though.

Ok I will give that a shot and see if that helps for the short term, but I am wondering how to actually stop it from happening. Is it an ios6 thing? Does anybody know how to resolve it?

Happened to me hwen I tried to move a NEW app into a folder.

I had to launch the app which removes the New badge and then I could move it into the folder.

Moving icons cause iPhone to restart

I have 4s with IOS 6 and its happening to me. I tried the one page at a time and it seems to work but what a pain.
