All morning my iPhone 4 has been "searching" where it shows the signal. And when I do have signal it's only 1-2 bars. Normally I have great signal with no issues...

I'm in Phoenix, AZ and having the same issue this morning. I rebooted - same thing, I switched to airplane mode - turned airplane mode off - stuck on searching and then goes to No Service. I usually get full bars at my work. I turned of 3G and Edge works ok. I had similar issues last week with slow or no connectivity to 3G. :(

That's odd! I'm in Oregon btw. Ya I've restarted and no help. It's annoying!!!!

Reset network settings

I had the same problem in Washington DC this weekend. I contacted ATT, they had me reset Network Settings (the only thing I hadn't done) and all was well. Towers were down and I suspect the phone got lost in limbo.

How do you do that? I disabled 3G and now have full bars but it's of course slower.

I reset the Network Settings. Now it's stuck on 'No Service.'
