Hello,

A friend of mine recently contacted me that he sold his iPhone 4 with iOS 5 still on the phone. From what he told me, he recently re-installed iOS 5 on the phone before selling it so it had a fresh OS.

The problem being, when ever I text his phone it still has iMessage on the phone and the person he sold it too can view/respond. He said he never entered his apple ID on the phone after he reinstalled iOS 5 again, so he doesnt understand why iMessage is still working on the phone if its hooked through apple accounts.

How would he go about removing this? Call apple? remove the uuid from the dev website? Would apple block this from the phone?

any help is appreciated.
