Phone stuck in headphone mode! Help!

My phone is stuck in headphone mode, even without headphones in. Reboot does not do anything. No noise comes out of the speakers. If I go into sounds and try to change ringtones, I guess that still makes noise come out of the speakers (so its not the speakers that are broken).

This means that I cannot use my phone for an alarm or anything else, since it just thinks its playing out of headphones. Please help!!

This happened to me once. Here's what worked for me...

The jack on the headphones you use have 3 black rings on it right? If so get a jack (from headphones or another other audio cable) with 2 black rings on it. Plug in and out a few times. Then try again.
