Phone Syncing?

Hey guys, I recently downloaded the iOS 7 GM to my iPhone and then downloaded the itunes 11.1 beta as well so I could sync music.

Anyhow, I also today downloaded some new music however it doesn't show in my 'recently added' playlist but it's on the phone nonetheless. I'm just wondering does anyone how to resolve this issue? I've tried looking around the web but haven't really found anything.
