Phone Upgrade - Apple Watch Question

I am upgrading from a 6s Plus to a X when my new phone is delivered on Friday. I will be restoring from a backup when setting up the new phone. Will that also transfer everything necessary for my Apple Watch to operate with the X or do I need to unpair from the old phone and do a new paring with the new one?

Unpair your watch via watch app. Create a backup. (Both iCloud and iTunes encrypted just incase one fails). Restore your backup to the new phone. Then launch watch and pair. You will be prompted to restore your watch backup. You need to unpair before backing up, otherwise it won’t backup your watch backup.
