iPhone 6(S)/Plus phone upgrades (de-cluttering)

Busy weekend. Activated my 12 Pro Friday, replacing my 11.
So my 11 went to my sister, replacing a 2016 SE.
A spare 6s went to my brother in law, replacing a 6 (so at least for this year he has a current OS).
A spare Moto G5 Plus went to a friend who has a Galaxy 7 with a failing battery.

So I'm down 2 unused phones. Still have a 7+ and SE on active backup lines.

Those extra phones were impulse purchases, but keeping them just meant they were getting more obsolete.

I miss a couple very very dear loved ones for many reasons, but also for how delighted they were to be on my hand-me-down Apple gear list.

Good to declutter life as we all only use 1 device at a time.
I haven’t had a backup device in years and not a single iPhone broke down. If one should ever do that, I’ll order a new one and pick it up by the curb side in an hour.
