Phone vibrating with iOS9

Just updated to iOS9 tonight, but now I seem to be getting notifications on my phone with vibrations, then 10 seconds later they make it to my watch with a watch vibration. This never happened with iOS8. Is it a setting? Bug? Confused why it changed

I haven't updated my phone yet, but I would try restarting both the phone and the watch.

This has happened to me a bunch of times before iOS 9.

Go into iPhone settings, and completely disable notifications for messages. Back all the way out of settings and quit. Open settings again and enable messages notifications again. Works for me almost every time.

hmm yeah overreaction on my part, probably just a short term bug. Went away today
It probably happened in the past but I just never noticed
